Why Russian breaks
The model is trained mostly on English, so it “guesses” Russian phonetics. Hence three typical problems: wrong stress, swallowed unstressed endings, and a mush of consonants in long words.
What helps
Mark the stress on ambiguous words (a stress mark over the vowel) — the model stops guessing.
Split long words by syllable in lines where the vocal stumbles.
Avoid heavy consonant clusters at word boundaries — rephrase the line.
Spell out numbers and Latin (“2026” → words).
