tricot: style for Suno V6

Formed in Kyoto in 2010, this female-fronted Japanese trio rose to the front of modern math rock, blending technical complexity with irresistible pop instinct. The style is built on intricate, angular guitar lines that interlock like clockwork, weaving counter-melodies over restless, shifting time signatures. Rhythms lurch between odd meters with tight start-stop dynamics, the bass and drums snapping into precise hits before bursting forward again. Tempos stay energetic and playful, while bright, melodic clean female vocals sung in Japanese float poppy hooks over the rhythmic puzzle, balancing accessibility with virtuosity. The prompt mirrors that push and pull: technical guitar interplay, syncopated grooves, sudden meter changes, and a buoyant, sunny mood that never loses its edge. It suits anime and game soundtracks, energetic montages, indie video projects, and playlists for listeners who love rhythmically adventurous yet hook-driven J-rock. What sets it apart is the joy in the complexity — the band makes dizzying meter changes feel weightless and fun rather than academic, inviting you to sing along before you can count along.
