Seether: style for Suno V6

Seether carried the grit of nineties grunge into a new century and a new hemisphere. Formed in Pretoria, South Africa, and led by singer-guitarist Shaun Morgan, the band broke internationally in the early 2000s with a sound rooted in Nirvana and Alice in Chains — sludgy, downtuned riffs, raw-throated vocals and melodies that ache. Their breakout Fine Again introduced Morgan's bruised delivery, and the acoustic Broken, re-recorded as a duet with Amy Lee, became a global hit that showed their softer, wounded side. Across albums like Disclaimer and Karma and Effect they balanced crushing heaviness with genuine hooks: Remedy struts, Fake It sneers, Rise Above This mourns. Morgan writes from a dark, personal place — addiction, loss and self-doubt run through the catalogue — and his voice, cracked and earnest, sells every line. The band takes its name from a Veruca Salt song, and Morgan has poured personal tragedy, including the loss of his brother, into later albums while founding the Rise Above festival for suicide prevention.
