Papa Roach: style for Suno V6

Papa Roach exploded out of California in 2000 with 'Last Resort', a rap-metal anthem whose howled hook about desperation and survival became one of the defining songs of the nu-metal era. Their breakthrough album Infest fused chugging, downtuned riffs with hip-hop rhythms and frontman Jacoby Shaddix's raw, versatile delivery — rapping, singing and screaming, often within the same verse — over themes of pain, addiction and defiance that spoke directly to a disaffected generation. As the nu-metal wave receded, the band reinvented themselves toward a leaner, more melodic hard rock without losing their cathartic edge, scoring later hits like 'Scars' and 'Getting Away with Murder'. The sound is aggressive and anthemic, built for arenas and mosh pits, but anchored by hooks big enough for radio. Shaddix's charisma and the band's knack for turning private torment into communal release kept them relevant across two decades. Papa Roach remain one of the most enduring and instantly recognisable voices of American alt-metal. From the multi-platinum Infest through Lovehatetragedy and beyond, Papa Roach have sold tens of millions of records and toured relentlessly, and 'Last Resort' has taken on a second life online as an evergreen anthem for a new generation discovering nu-metal.
