Carpenter Brut: style for Suno V6
An instrumental Style brief describing the arrangement, dynamics and sound. No vocals or choir.
Carpenter Brut is the French producer who dragged synthwave into its meanest, bloodiest corner and helped name it: darksynth. Where retro synth nostalgia usually glows soft, here it bares its teeth — pounding, gated drum machines, screaming analog lead synths pushed past distortion, and great slabs of downtuned metal guitar slammed against the electronics. The result is relentless 80s-horror adrenaline: VHS-grade grit, arpeggiated menace, sudden cinematic stabs, a tempo that simply refuses to ease off. The mix is loud, saturated and physical, built for neon-lit chase scenes and midnight violence. Alongside the genre's other key figures he defined this entire dark, guitar-heavy strain of the retrowave sound. The style prompt captures that cinematic neon brutality: analog threat, heavy guitar hits and a pace that never lets up. Use it for action set-pieces, horror tension, racing and chase sequences, or any high-octane retro-futurist nightmare. Push the synths into distortion and let the guitars hit like a hammer.
