Blank Banshee: style for Suno V6
An instrumental Style brief describing the arrangement, dynamics and sound. No vocals or choir.
A defining voice of early-2010s internet music, this Canadian project emerged in 2012 and effectively coined "vaportrap" — a hybrid that grafts the chopped-and-screwed nostalgia of classic vaporwave onto modern Southern trap rhythms. The sound is a glossy digital collage: smooth-jazz licks, new-age pads, corporate muzak and nature-documentary textures are slowed, pitch-bent and reassembled into lush, dreamlike beds. Over this float glassy FM synths, marimba-like bells and shimmering reverb tails, evoking 90s software, CD-ROMs and early-web aesthetics. Beneath the haze, booming 808 sub-bass, crisp rolling hi-hats and snappy snares lock everything to a deliberate, head-nodding tempo. The result is largely instrumental, eco-cyber and weightless yet hard-hitting. Feed it to Suno and it pins down that exact tension — pristine sampled ambience meeting heavy trap percussion, cyber-pastoral mood and surgical, vapor-tinged production. Ideal for lo-fi study sessions, aesthetic edits, retro-futurist game scenes, vaporwave playlists and atmospheric background loops that feel both nostalgic and digitally pristine. The approach turned a niche internet meme into a genuine production language, and its crisp, sample-heavy template still shapes lo-fi and chillwave producers today.
