Alcest: style for Suno V6

Alcest is the French project that more or less invented blackgaze — a fusion of the icy tremolo guitars and blast-beats of atmospheric black metal with the warm, hazy melody and reverb-drenched textures of shoegaze. Founded as the vehicle for one musician's vision of a luminous 'other world', it traded black metal's bleakness for something radiant and nostalgic. Cascading layers of distorted guitar shimmer over double-kick drumming, while clean, ethereal tenor vocals float dreamily above — often wordless, occasionally giving way to distant black-metal rasps. The production is vast and washed in reverb, built to evoke memory, nature and half-remembered childhood. Dynamics swing from fragile, almost folk-like passages to towering walls of melodic distortion and back. Drop it into Suno to rebuild that blackgaze signature: tremolo-picked shimmering guitars, blast-beat-to-post-rock dynamics, ethereal clean vocals and a cavernous reverberant mix. Reach for it on atmospheric, melancholic-yet-uplifting tracks, cinematic post-metal, meditation and nature imagery, film and game scoring, or anything that needs beauty and heaviness in the same breath.
