Behavior + Meta tags

Inline tags for the Suno v5.5 lyrics field. They are ~10× more powerful than the same instructions in the style field — they control locally, section by section.

How to use: Place a bracketed tag at the start of a line in the lyrics field — Suno applies it to that section/line. Multiple instructions in one tag use pipe |.

STRUCTURE (Behavior Tags)

Use instead of plain [Verse]/[Chorus] — those are blunt and often force a generic-pop delivery. Behavior tags tell the section what to DO.

[Structure: Focused Performance]
Tight storytelling, medium energy
[Structure: Build-up]
Rising tension, instruments layering in
[Structure: Anthemic Peak]
Track's biggest moment, peak hook energy
[Structure: Minimalist Breakdown]
Stripped down intimacy, lots of space, few instruments
[Structure: Cinematic Drop]
Cinematic dramatic hit after pause
[Structure: Outro Fade]
Gradual track fade-out
[Structure: Spoken Bridge]
Spoken bridge instead of a melodic section
[Structure: Call and Response]
Two voices/instruments trading lines

PIPE COMBINATIONS

Multiple instructions in one tag — pipe |. Most powerful section-control technique.

[Pre-chorus | Build-up | Rolling Toms | Crescendo]
